Trip to Knock
On the 14th of September we went on our trip to knock. We had to be in school for 7.45 and the bus left at 8. When we got there we got name tags and we went into a room to listen to guest speakers.
The first speaker was Father Peter McVvery. He talked to the schools about homelessness in Dublin. Then there were two speakers one from Mount Joy prison and another American woman talked to us about climate change and what we can do.
The last speaker was by at the best, Joanne Riordan. She's a motivational speaker and talked to us about how she doesn't let her condition bother her. She definitely engaged with us because she was funny and wasn't boring like the others.
